Health Insurance Massage

We accept these insurance providers: Kaiser, Regence Blue Cross, Healthnet, Aetna, Providence, & Cigna

We all know health insurance can be hard to navigate.

Many people are surprised to learn that massage therapy IS covered under their plan, even without a prescription.

At Beehive Bodywork, we’re committed to help you access the benefits available to you.

Contact your health insurance to see if they will cover massage for you. Depending on your provider, you may or may not need a prescription. (Kaiser does not require prescription.)
Book an appointment with Beehive Bodywork! Make sure you chose the “insurance appointment” option.
You will not be charged to schedule a 60-min appointment. Insurance companies only cover 60-min appointments. If you would like a longer appointment, you may pay for add-ons. (Beehive Bodywork recommends 90 minutes for most patients.)
Your personal credit card will be collected but not necessarily billed. (If you have a card provided by your insurance company, do NOT use this card.) Your personal credit card will be billed if you don’t show up, if you purchase an add-on, or if you choose to leave a tip after the massage.
If there is a co-pay, you’ll be billed in the mail by EMBS (our medical billing service). They will also bill you in full if your insurance claim is denied.
Provide your insurance card. After you book your appointment, you will receive a confirmation text. Please reply with a photo or screenshot of your insurance card. We will not be able to complete the massage if we don’t have your insurance ID number.
Come get your massage! If you need to reschedule, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.
